Lepidoptera Intro:
Lepidoptera belongs to an order under the winged subclass. About 200000 species are known in the world and more than 8000 species are known in China. This order is the second largest order in Insecta after Coleoptera. The distribution range is very wide, and the tropical species are the most abundant. Most kinds of larvae harm all kinds of cultivated plants. The larger ones often eat all the leaves or drill the branches. Smaller people often roll leaves, form sheaths, spin silk and net or drill into plant tissues for feeding. Adults mostly use nectar as supplementary nutrition, or their mouthparts degenerate and no longer feed, which generally does not cause direct harm.
