Ancylolomia japonica(疑似 水稻稻巢螟)

I spotted this pest bug on the stalk of one of the plants in my apartment’s mini balcony garden, one of the few common guests to my home, which is on the sixth floor, a place many bugs can’t reach. This insect is known to infeat weat and rice with their young, and I suspect the grubs my mom found in the rice we bought half a year ago was this little fellow’s kind’s work. Well, although there are only a few grain borers, I actually couldn’t recognize this one due to its unusually flat head. I searched everywhere, and only Ancylolomia japonica came close to this moth’s appearance, so I guess I’m temporarily naming it this.
